Improve screen space on editable lists - it's very bad since Fall 18. Update

Please take a look at this screenshot that compares the effect on screen space in editable lists before and after fall 18 update.

Am I the only one who really dislike the utilization of screen space in particular editable lists since the fall update ?

Please help make this a priority by voting it up.

Yes, version 16 has improved journals, but you can still minimize the gutter more, and minimize the huge white area before content as well.

A journal should take 100 % of screen width - not 80 % when 20 % is wasted for some "white" space.

Yes, it looks great !
...but that doesn't make it a user friendly !

I'm sure many will agree - that journals needs really to have as much space as possible - no one likes to scroll left and right to see information, you could have on screen with no problem in 2009 Classic or even 2009 RTC client.

Issue remains after October 2019 release. Now we have in v15 a button to make one page pop open up in new separate window. One could have hoped that the massive space on the edges then would have been minimized if the opened page was a worksheet, but it's not. So not helpful. I think that when click "Edit list" is made, it should not open up in a new pop up window, but instead make the current window editable. If a new window has to open, then make it take up 100 % if width if opened up page is a list / worksheet.

The use of the real estate doesn't do any justice for an ERP system which has to display a lot of data. It might be a cleaner look for a demo, but if you ask a pilot to take half of his/her instruments and switches off the cockpit because it looks messy than expect a rough reply. That's the same reply we get from users.

I, and many others, still find the Business Cloud Web Client to be extremely hungry in terms of eating screen space.

I would recommend whoever is designing the UX to talk to daily users about having the right information at hand, and not scroll to left and right up and down to be able to see it.

All of my 3 BC Cloud clients have had from the start learned to zoom out to 65-75 % inside browser to achieve an acceptable view of data.

Just of many issues with the Fall18 layouts!!! Requires way too many clicks to do anything. Even with keyboard shortcuts now available.
