Enable product properties to be configured for customer assets

Hi,

As customer assets can be an instance of a product in the same way as opportunity products etc. It would be great if the ability to manage the instance properties was extended to the customer asset entity?

We agree, Customer Asset is generally an instance of a product that has been applied somewhere in the world. With that said, can you help us understand your request a bit better?

Please describe the use case or gaps that your suggested feature would address.
As with most entities in Dynamics, you can add custom attributes to extend customer asset. If your idea refers to different product properties, please help us understand your idea more.
