If you accidently attach something that should not be there, which trust me it happens. You can delete it, but it goes to the deleted tab, there is no option to completely remove it, which I get, but we do see cases where we need to remove it, the only option is to go through the SQL tables. Should we have something in those special cases to delete the attachment completely? Example if you attach something at the currency setup accidentally, even when in the deleted tab it goes to all the trx and historical trx which is a pain to fix. If you attach some PPI information to an employee record accidently or on the wrong employee, this information is still in the deleted tab which legally we need to get rid of it. Maybe we could put some security around the deletion part of it for more control. Thanks

I Agree with Terry & Abra,
Too many customers are frustrated with the fact that end-users can't delete document attachment, either due to a mistake or clean-up old documents by date range..
Bring that up team !
Thanks.

We would LOVE the ability to mass delete documents (with security) prior to a given date! Thanks Terry! I'll pass along this suggestion!

Talking with customers it would be nice to give date ranges like what company data archive can do and delete all documents prior to that date, not one at a time. Adding a date restriction will help with the process.
